Our people are international experienced professionals, typically with ten years media experience on local and global clients, and led by people with vision who know the media and communications market and the way it operates.

AuditStar was founded in 2001 by three equal partners: Caroline Lane (AuditStar London), Rolf-Dieter Wulf (AuditStar Dusseldof) and Kurt Ludwig (AuditStar Hamburg).

Caroline Lane

Caroline Lane gained an MA in Modern Languages from New Hall College, Cambridge and then spent the following nine years in major agencies. She left BBDO International where she was International Media Director, to join the ECM Group of Companies as a founder member of the start up providing advertiser funded programming and media consultancy services to multi-national advertisers. She left in January 2001 to found AuditStar and is currently servicing clients globally. Mrs Lane is fluent in English (native), French, Spanish and Portuguese with working knowledge of Italian.

Rolf-Dieter Wulf

Following a degree in Marketing and Sociology, he spent twelve years in media agencies, with eight years at BBDO as Media Group Manager, followed by four years as Managing Director of Mediapolis / MediaStar (Euro RSCG), with a period at Euro TV Munich. Mr Wulf is a regular lecturer on media issues at the Universities of Siegen and Leipzig as well as being a regular contributor to articles in W&V in Germany. Mr Wulf is fluent in English and German (native).

Kurt Ludwig

Having completed his studies with a joint degree in Marketing and Applied Psychology, from Hamburg University, he worked as a research specialist for ten years at Gruner & Jahr and BBDO Düsseldorf, before taking up the post of Sales Director at Sat 1 for eight years. Latterly Mr Ludwig was Group Managing Director of Carat Hamburg and has served as a member and chairman of the Management Boards of AG.MA and AGF. He is fluent in English and German (native), with working knowledge of French.
